This is an original UK matching numbers RHD car, CR version, with Overdrive and Petrol Injection.
It is finished in Signal Red, with chrome wires and 5 quality Michelin XZX tyres, and is in excellent fully working condition, both mechanically and bodily.
Recent work carried out:
A new hood is fitted, refurbished leather seats with new headrests, refurbished dash in American Walnut, new inertia reel seatbelts fitted to a new roll bar, with hood cover, new carpets, working CD radio, refurbished steering wheel.
New crankshaft thrust bearings fitted, steering column coupling, bonnet latch, full exhaust system, new front calipers, front and rear wheel bearings.
An upgraded Webber style throttle linkage is fitted, with an independent idle control in the dash for easier startup and idling.

The car was extensiveley restored in the late 1980's and 1990's, with a file of invoices confirming the work done, and has only covered approximately 35K miles since, now showing 118k miles, with MOT certificates from 1984 to 2021 at 116k miles.
Includes:
Full engine rebuild including rebore, new pistons, crank regrind and bearings, clutch, oil pump, timing chain, overhauled injectors and metering unit.
Refurbished gearbox with working overdrive, new clutch assembly, spin on oil filter conversion, Koni shocks all round including additional rear crossmember, Bosch fuel pump and regulator, anti-roll bars.
Also the rebuild was fitted with many new body panels, including:
Inner and outer cills, front and rear inner wings, rear B posts, front and rear outer wings, boot floor and sides, lid, deck, front and rear valances, door skins. Full respray in Triumph signal red, waxoiled underside and chassis. In summary, this car is in excellent all round condition, not concours but very clean and shiny.
It drives faultlessley, with lively performance, good brakes, gearbox with overdrive on 3rd and 4th, steering and handling, as a good TR6 should.
In my 50 + years experiance of classic sports cars, I can say that this car is definitely the best driving experience of any of my previous classics. I am reluctantly selling this as I have recently bought another classic, and have run out of space and do not wish it to be outsde under cover in the forthcoming winter months.

It is, I feel, reasonably priced, open to offers and hopefully a quick sale. It represents a great car to use and enjoy.
